Audi India has registered a growth of 126 percent in the first quarter of 2023. The luxury maker delivered 1,950 new cars as compared to 862 units which they delivered during the same period last year. This has been the strongest first quarter sales for the brand in the last six years. Audi India also continues to expand its pre-owned car business, Audi Approved. It currently operates with 22 showrooms across major centers of the country and by the end of this year, it will add three more.
Audi currently has its strongest ever SUV portfolio with the Audi Q3, Audi Q3 Sportback, Audi Q5, Audi Q7, Audi Q8 and the Audi RS Q8. The brand is also selling quite a few electric vehicles. There are the e-tron 50, e-tron 55 and the e-tron Sportback 55. Then there are performance electric vehicles like the RS e-tron GT and e-tron GT. Audi says demand for sedans and sports cars is also strong. They are currently selling the RS5 Sportback, S5 Sportback, A4, A6 and A8L. Furthermore, the brand also said that demand is strong for the top-end models which include the Q7, Q8 and the A8 L.

Mr. Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head, Audi India said, “We have witnessed a strong growth of 126% in Q1 2023 as compared to the same period last year. We have sixteen models in our product line-up and currently have the strongest SUV portfolio which contributes to more than 60% of our total sales (in Q1, 2023). The newly launched Audi Q3 and Audi Q3 Sportback are in high demand across the country. We are on the growth trajectory and are confident of an exponential performance by 2023.”
In related news, Audi India will increase the prices of its vehicle range by up to 2.4 per cent depending on the offer. The latest price hike will be effective from May 1, 2023. The automaker will increase prices on the Audi Q3 and Audi Q3 Sportback by up to 1.6 percent, while the prices of the Q8 Celebration, RS5 and S5 will increase by 2.4 percent. ,
